Fairford Electronics HFE1 Soft Start for a 110V or 230V Single Phase motor to 10A. Suitable for 1.1kW (1.5HP) at 230V or 0.55kW (0.75HP) at 110V. Can be used with either Capacitor Start or Capacitor Run Single Phase motors.

Applies a low starting voltage to the motor when power is applied and raises this voltage to match the specified ramp time until the motor is running at full speed.

Energy saving: Continually regulates voltage to match the mechanical load once the ramp period is complete and the motor is running at full speed. Manufacturer states savings of 10-32% are possible.
