As controlled advanced triggering devices, Lightning Protection Industries' range of Guardian CAT terminals intercept lightning discharges and attach them to a preferred point.
The CAT terminal has been designed to emit a "streamer" of energy at precisely the right time so an approaching "leader" is intercepted and brought under control.
All Guardian CAT terminals have been tested in compliance to IEC test standard IEC 60-1:1989. The Guardian range holds the Australian-made certification.
