With surge protection built in, this is a three-pole ABB AF contactor complies with IEC/EN standards. It comprises a three normally open (3NO) contact configuration and is suitable for 24 to 60 VAC systems. 

Used for controlling power circuits up to 690 volts AC and 220 volts DC, AF09 contactors are mainly used for controlling three-phase motors, non-inductive or slightly inductive loads.
